The year will start off with Zoology. We will be traveling through Apologia’s Elementary Science book Exploring Creation with Zoology 1/Flying Creatures of the Fifth Day. Each week your child will be required to complete a reading assignment, notebook work and activity from this book. Every Monday the class will come together to review the week’s work and do a hands on project relating to the lesson. While we compile our notebooks, we will also use flashcards and complete a Latin notebook to reinforce the concepts learned throughout this book.
During the second part of the year, we will pick up Apologia’s Elementary Science book Exploring Creation with Botany. During this part of the year we will also complete a notebook and do hands on projects to reinforce each week’s lesson. (Particulars regarding fees and specifics for this portion of the class will be available during 2nd semester sign up.)

I am a wife and home schooling mom of five children; sixteen to five. We have home schooled since kindergarten using many different resources. This will be my second year teaching at this cooperative, and the second cooperative I have taught at. These elementary science books are an excellent choice to do in this type of setting. I look forward to watching your child grow in the knowledge of God’s creation through independent weekly work and group projects.
