Teacher Background I've loved art since I was a little girl and continued to develop my passion and skills through out my school years. My favorite area of art has been for drawing and painting. I have taken art classes at Harper College, and have enjoyed Design 1and 2, which introduced me to the fascinating medium of clay sculpturing. I have also continued my passion for drawing with classes in Drawing 1 and 2.
Being a mom of four I rarely have opportunities to spend as much time as I would like being able to use my creative art gifts So, I am very excited about having a dedicated class time to work with and be creative with Heritage students in pursuing and growing in the appreciation of Art/Sculpture and Design together.

Description: The objective for the Boys PE class is to play hard and have fun, while learning about good sportsmanship, teamwork, and respect for everyone regardless of one’s ability or inability. It is also my objective to teach the boys how to win and lose well. In short, our attitudes and actions toward the opposing team, our teammates, and/or ourselves should be pleasing to God whether we won or lost a competition.
The motto for the class is taken from I Corinthians 10:31, “Whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.” From time to time I will remind the boys (and myself) of this scripture and that even while playing a game we should be glorifying God.
Some of the activities that will be played are as follows: Dodge Ball, Football, Basketball, Volleyball, Soccer, Ultimate Frisbee, Softball, Floor Hockey and Kickball. Activities are indoor and outdoor weather permitting.
