Description:
Heritage Sports League will be offering instruction in the discipline of Karate on Monday Evenings at EEFC gymnasium. We will begin next Monday evening. This will be a 7 week session concluding on May 21. Here is a description of the course:

Two classes will be offered: younger students 7 - 11 years old/ family:6:00 - 7:15 p.m. older students 12 - 17 years old/family : 7:30 - 8:45 p.m.

Fun for all ages including parents and grandparents. The class teaches basic martial art with Biblical application. Students have an opportunity to advance through six belts (with intermediate recognition of advancement) all the way to Black Belt.

Teacher Background
An ordained minister and fifth-degree Black Belt, Reverend Dave Pearson has taught Christian karate in the Chicagoland area for over 15 years. He works through local churches and home school groups.

Required Materials:
Uniforms are not required but students are asked to wear loose-fitting clothes

Fee:
Costs are reasonable - $10 / student and $20 / family max.
