Offered Fall Semester:
The Everyday Gentleman "is measured not by what he has, but by what he is."
This 12 week class will help ordinary young men to become outstanding gentlemen. The class will cover diet, exercise, hygiene, grooming, dress, posture, and communication. (Yes, they will learn how to write a thank you note.) In addition to the external development, we will focus each week on a character trait to be developed in their lives. Such as; chivalry, ambition, self control, honesty, loyalty, courtesy, resourcefulness, contentment, and purity.
Ages 8 and up are welcome to attend. For questions, please call Julie Frantz at 815-332-9836.
Julie Frantz has a B.A. degree in Radio and TV and a minor in Biblical Studies. She has worked in both fields with additional experience in promotional, fund raising, and public relations work. She has taught principles of etiquette for the past seven years. She operates a business called “Everyday Etiquette."
No prerequisites.
The cost is $60.00 and is inclusive of supplies and the gentleman book we will put together. Note: $30 minimum of the total fee is due by the second week of class. The remainder of the fee is due by the mid point of the semester. If the student drops the class during the ‘grace period’, the $5 fee per class attended is still owed due to food and paper supplies. Thank you.
