Offered Fall Semester: Advance Etiquette is for those students who would like to know the finer details of manners and etiquette. This class covers the following: fine dining (the six course meal), the art of letter writing, Asian Dining and use of chopsticks, restaurant etiquette and how to read foreign words on a menu, out and about--weddings, theater, funerals, and special events, tea etiquette, conversation and mingling skills, manners at school, entertaining, and how to be a come again house guest. Students will learn how to correctly eat: Pizza, tacos, canapés and crudities, popcorn, scones and tea, Asian food, and drinks with garnishes.
Julie Frantz has a B.A. degree in Radio and TV and a minor in Biblical Studies. She has worked in both fields with additional experience in promotional, fund raising, and public relations work. She has taught principles of etiquette for the past seven years. She operates a business called “Everyday Etiquette."
No prerequisites.
